   Our technical programs are under the direction of a Certified Industrial Hygienist, Thomas O. Murray, MS, CIH, and President of AEH&S.  Tom is certified (certificate #3460) by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH), an organization highly regarded by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency.  Tom has over twenty-five (25) years experience in Safety, Health, Industrial Hygiene, EH&S Program Management, and Occupational Safety and Health Training.

   AEH&S is listed on the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) Consultants Listing as a company qualified to conduct various environmental and industrial hygiene air and bulk testing.  When conducting air and bulk sampling AEH&S follows Occupational Safety & Health (OSHA), National Institute for Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH), and American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienist (ACGIH) protocols.

   Since 1990, AEH&S has been providing Health and Safety Training & Consulting in order to help companies, industry, hospitals, small business, cities, counties, school boards, etc., comply with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and State Safety and Health requirements.

   AEH&S has been a USEPA external training provider for course 165.5 Hazardous Materials Incident Response Operations and course 165.15 Emergency Response To Hazardous Materials Incidents since 1993. 

   AEH&S is an EH&S training provider for a wide variety of OSHA and EPA training courses required for employees and management.  AEH&S conducts the forty (40) hour Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) class, the twenty four (24) hour HAZWOPER class, and the eight-hour (8) Refresher HAZWOPER class.

   In addition, AEH&S conducts other OSHA required training classes such as, but not limited to, Confined Space Entry, Lock Out/Tag Out, Hazard Communication/Material Safety Data Sheet, Powered Industrial Truck (Fork Lift), Fire Extinguisher/Emergency Action Plan, Respiratory Protection, Personal Protective Equipment, Back Injury Protection/Ergonomics, Fall Protection, all required Asbestos courses, and more.
