TRINITY ENVIRONMENTAL
CORPORATION

TRINITY is a family-owned, environmental contracting company specializing in subsurface investigations. Our services include soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring point installation, and remediation injections. Our versatile equipment allows us to use both the direct push and auger drilling methods. With ten years of combined experience in the environmental field, we are committed to providing our clients with exceptional service at competitive prices.
TRINITY’s Services:
- Utility Clearance - Committed to safety, we offer utility clearance prior to advancing any equipment into the subsurface. We use both hand tools (post hole diggers, hand augers, etc.) and a portable vacuum unit to clear the bore hole location and ensure that no underground utilities or subsurface structures will be disturbed.
- Soil Sampling - Using a macro-core sampler, large bore sampler, or the dual tube sampling system, we can collect soil samples to investigate subsurface conditions. The macro-core sampler removes soil cores in 5-foot intervals for continuous soil sampling. The large bore sampler is used for sampling soils at discrete intervals. It remains sealed as it is driven to the prescribed depth, where a piston release allows it to collect a 2-foot sample. Using the dual tube sampling system, an outer casing is used to provide structural support while continuous soil samples are collected using a smaller, inner set of probe rods.
- Groundwater Sampling - Groundwater samples can be collected from discrete intervals using the SP-16 sampler. The SP-16 sampler is driven to a specific depth before exposing a slotted screen. The length of the screen can be set from just a few inches to as much as 41-inches for more control over the sampling zone. Groundwater samples can then be collected using a check valve or peristaltic pump.
- Monitoring Point Installation - We install both groundwater and soil vapor monitoring points. Temporary or permanent groundwater monitoring wells between ½-inch and 4-inch diameter can be installed.
- Remediation Injections - We can apply chemical compounds designed to treat subsurface contamination.
TRINITY operates a Geoprobe® 7720DT soil probing machine. Designed specifically for use in the Environmental Industry, this direct push machine uses the combined force of vehicle weight and percussion to advance tools and sensors into the ground. The powerful 7720DT is also equipped for auger drilling. This compact, track-mounted rig is easily maneuvered into hard to reach areas.
